Privacy Policy for Alpine Electronics Pty. Limited

Alpine has implemented and published this Online Privacy Policy to inform you about Alpine’s collection, use, protection, and disclosure of your Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”). You can visit our Alpine Online Shop without disclosing any PII about yourself, but will not be able to purchase any products without disclosing any PII about yourself. Such information is collected on the Alpine website and online store when you register and purchase products online. The type of Personally Identifiable Information we may collect includes information such as your name, address, telephone and fax numbers, password for purchasing items online, credit card details for payment of purchases, your IP address and email address. Also, in the event that we undergo reorganisation or are sold to a third party, any Personally Identifiable Information that we hold may be transferred to such reorganised entity or third party for the purposes of and subject to the terms of this Online Privacy Policy. For purposes of this Online Privacy Policy, “Alpine Group” means Alpine Electronics, Inc., any company or entity of which Alpine Electronics, Inc. owns, directly or indirectly, more than 50% of the issued share capital, and any sub-contractors that Alpine Electronics, Inc. or Alpine Electronics of Australia Pty. Limited may use for purposes of server maintenance or information storage. Any such subcontractors will be subject to the same security and confidentiality standards as any other member of the Alpine Group.

Your request must be signed and include your full name, address and the email address used when registering with us or making an online request.

Access and Management

You may request access to your Personally Identifiable Information in our customer account database, or seek correction of it, by contacting our customer service team. See section 9: Contact information.

Alpine may charge a reasonable fee that is not excessive to cover the charges of retrieving your Personally Identifiable Information from our customer account database. Alpine will not charge you for making the request.

If you believe that Alpine holds Personally Identifiable Information about you in our customer account database that is not accurate, complete, up-to-date, relevant or information that is misleading then you may request its amendment and Alpine will respond to your request within a reasonable time. Alpine will not charge you for correcting your Personally Identifiable Information.

If Alpine no longer needs your Personally Identifiable Information for any the purposes set out in this policy, or as otherwise required by law, Alpine will take such steps as are reasonable in the circumstances to destroy the information or to de-identify it.

Alpine will take reasonable steps to protect the Personally Identifiable Information it holds from misuse, interference and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

Opting Out
