Product Description
The all-new R-Series shallow profile subwoofers are extreme in every way, commanding a tough and rugged appearance with high performance bass output to match.
Alpine takes compact bass to the next level with a state-of-the-art design coupled engineering innovation to accomplish an ultra-shallow profile without compromising on bass level output and quality in anyway. An exclusive dual gap motor structure combined with a powerful neodymium magnet allows for high power handling of 600Watts RMS and 1800Watts max. Moreover, with its bespoke cast aluminium frame and ground-breaking woofer cone design enables an incredibly linear X-max of 20mm ensuring the best possible bass performance.
Alpine’s R-Series Shallow Subwoofers give you the best of both worlds in size and sound.
What’s more, the optional mesh grille KTE-RS12G, exudes a tough look and adds a premium finish to your custom installation, all-while giving your equipment the protection it deserves.
More bass with less space—Alpine’s new Shallow R-Series rise to the top, giving you extraordinary bass performance in an ultra-compact form to suit and fit into virtually any application.
Designed for Tight Spaces
Now you don’t have to choose between bass and space! Alpine’s R-Series Shallow Preloaded Subwoofer Enclosure measures at a minimal 5.25” (133mm) deep to deliver the loud and powerful sound Alpine’s R-Series are famous for, all-while to suit most vehicle applications. Moreover, the “feet” are adjustable in height to accommodate uneven vehicle floors.
Extreme Output
Don’t let the size fool you—the enclosures feature the same motor movement of 20mm excursion as the full-size R2-Series Subwoofers for extreme output in a shallow woofer design. At the heart of the R-Series Shallow Subwoofers is an oversized 4-inch voice coil that houses the lightweight and powerful neodymium magnet for 600W RMS of power handling.
Precise Bass Control
Alpine’s Gen2 DD-Linear Magnetic Circuit technology, a compact and efficient dual-gap voice coil delivers linear control over the motor for lower distortion and precise bass control. The preloaded enclosures use the subwoofer frame as bracing for a more ridged design and better bass response.
