Touch Menu Display

Navigating your way through the menus to set a destination, make settings or search for POI’s is a breeze. The large icons and menu flow is easy, fast and logical.

Day/Night Display

During the day the map is displayed bright and clear, at night or in low light conditions the display is automatically set to night mode.

3D/2D Map Display

At the touch of an icon the map orientation is selectable to 2D or 3D viewing. 3D mode is set in heading-up view, 2D mode can be set to north or heading-up view.

Points-Of Interest Search

With hundreds of thousands of Points-Of-Interest (POI), you’re sure to locate the nearest restaurant, fuel station, shopping centre, parking, bank and much more.

Go portable, or Docked?

Unlike any navigation system the PMD-B100E can be docked with compatible Alpine Mobile Media Stations. When navigation is required for another car, simply unplug it and use it like a conventional portable navigation device.

Text-to-Speech Guidance

Alpine makes your driving experience safe and stress free. The voice guidance gives you attentive instructions including spoken street names, so you keep your eyes on the road when navigating.

Motorway Entrance Illustrations

When entering a city motorway a realistic rendition of the entrance will be displayed providing visual orientation. Motorway illustrations are displayed on select Melbourne and Sydney motorways.

Safety Alerts

When approaching a fixed speed/red light camera you are automatically alerted to the location by icon, plus voice guidance. Where available the speed zone limit is displayed and alerted by voice guidance.

MP3 Player

Store MP3 music files on the SD card and playback the music via the built-in speaker.

Latest Whereis Maps

Alpine’s premium navigation system uses the
superior Whereis map database. The latest Whereis version 15.1 database includes the very latest road and motorway updates, plus phonetic database.
